Agreement to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and TODO: launch blocking, legal name of the operator. To be added once the business is formally established. ("Horme", "we", "us"). By joining the private beta, creating an account, or using Horme, you agree to these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, and the Privacy Policy. The service and the private beta

Horme is mission control for AI coding agents. It lets you assign work to coding agents, see where that work stands, and review the results. The Horme service includes the website, the web app, and the Horme runner.

Horme is in private beta. Access is by invitation, features are incomplete, and they may change, break, or be removed without notice. Horme is currently free of charge. There is no billing, and we will not charge you without first telling you the price and getting your agreement.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Horme. You must give accurate information when you sign up. Legal review

Your account

Keep your password and your runner's access token secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and on runners paired to it. Tell us promptly at hello@usehorme.com if you believe someone has used your account or a runner without permission.

The runner and your repositories

You install the Horme runner on computers you choose and connect the repositories you choose. You must own those computers and repositories, or have permission to use them this way.

The runner starts coding agents on your computer, under your user account. Those agents can read, create, change, and delete files in the repositories you connect, and depending on the agent and its settings, they can run commands. Horme saves agent changes on separate branches, but you are responsible for what you let agents do on your machines.

Coding agents and other third party services

Claude Code is a product of Anthropic and Codex is a product of OpenAI. You need your own accounts with those companies, and their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of their products. Horme is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Anthropic or OpenAI. We are not responsible for third party services, including changes to them, their availability, their charges to you, or what they do with information you send them.

Agent output is your responsibility to review

AI generated output can be wrong, incomplete, or insecure. Horme does not guarantee that agent work is correct, that it is free of vulnerabilities, or that an agent will do what you asked.

• Use version control and keep backups of anything that matters.
• Review agent changes before you merge, deploy, run, publish, or rely on them.
• Keep your normal code review and security practices in place.

You remain responsible for deciding what to merge, deploy, execute, or publish.

Your content

You own your source code, prompts, and other content you put into Horme, and nothing in these terms transfers ownership of it to us.

You give Horme a limited permission to host, store, copy, process, transmit, and display your content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service for you. This permission ends when your content is deleted from the service, except for copies kept in backups or logs for a limited time or where the law requires us to keep them. Legal review

You are responsible for having the rights to the content you put into Horme and for keeping secrets out of it.

Horme's property

The Horme service, software, website, and brand belong to Horme or its licensors. These terms give you permission to use the service while they apply, and no other rights. Open source software included in Horme is governed by its own licenses.

Feedback

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.

Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy.

Availability and changes

We do not promise that Horme will be available at any particular time, uninterrupted, or free of errors. During the private beta we may change, pause, or remove features, and information stored in the service could be lost. Keep your own copies of anything you need.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Horme at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your use creates a risk to Horme, other users, or third parties, or if we end the private beta. When access ends, your right to use Horme ends, and we handle your information as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as ownership, disclaimers, and limits on liability, continue after termination.

Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Horme is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement. Some laws do not allow these exclusions, so they may not all apply to you. Legal review

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Horme is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or damage caused by changes coding agents make in your repositories or on your computers. Our total liability for all claims related to Horme is limited to TODO: liability cap, for legal review. Legal review

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to cover Horme's reasonable losses and costs from third party claims arising from your content, your repositories, or your breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. Legal review: whether to include

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. If we cannot, the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. These terms do not include mandatory arbitration or a class action waiver. Legal review

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Horme after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using Horme and ask us to delete your account. Legal review
